They will be sharing with Victory Church about their important work of protecting religious freedom and what it means for the common good. Lead Pastor, Jamé Bolds is teaching through series called "Discover the Common Good" and is excited for Victory Church to see a real world application.
"Stanley and Chelsea are national experts that help protect vital public ministries like churches, preschools and many faith based organizations that live out their faith in the public square. We are elated to have them here to worship with us", stated Jamé Bolds, Lead Pastor.
In an interview style conversation, Pastor Jamé will be asking Dr. Carlson-Thies and Mrs. Langston-Bombino about the current challenges that grassroots ministries are facing and what more can be done to protect religious freedom.
Victory Church invites everyone including public officials to come discover what faith can do in the public square.
Stanley Carlson-Thies is the Founder and Senior Director of the Institutional Religious Freedom Alliance (IRFA), a division of the Center for Public Justice. As part of this role, he convenes the Coalition to Preserve Religious Freedom, a multi-faith alliance of social-service, education, and religious freedom organizations that advocates for the religious freedom of faith-based organizations to Congress and the federal government. In addition he is also a Senior Fellow at the Canadian think tank Cardus.

VICTORYMEN is not a cheesy “Men’s Ministry”…we don’t have t-shirts, coffee mugs, or take oaths we just work at being VICTORS. Most Men’s Ministries seem to be based on a ladies tea model – “let’s come and talk about how we feel, share our problems, be vulnerable”...WHAT? Men, this ain’t Oprah.
VICTORYMEN is led by "The Chief", CE Ward. Mr. CE is one of our deacons and the former Fire Chief of the Poquoson Fire Department. We don't mess with Chief, whew, that man can make a mean western omelette.
At VICTORYMEN, we host a monthly breakfast, cut up, laugh, eat, and give you practical tools, and real life skill sets to live by and be the VICTORYMAN has called you to be. AMEN.
