Hi, we are Jamé & Jennifer Bolds. We believe deeply that the local church is the soul of a community and it feeds our God-given desire to build a loving & healthy church. We want a place where people make friends and live life together. Faith bridges the gap from Sunday to Monday in all aspects of our life.

I oversee the ministry here at Victory including the church, school, retirement community, and whatever else the Victors can get into. Pastor Stuart and I trade off the Sunday speaking schedule and find ourselves in all kinds of situations centering around whole-life discipleship.

Along with Victory, I serve as CEO of the Pathmakers Foundation, a venture philanthropic foundation that helps ministries become socially and economically sustainable.

Most of all I enjoy living life with our Victors. I’m a professional coffee buyer and will meet you anytime. My number is 757.504.0322.

Executive Pastor (Church Ministries)

Hey there, I’m Jennifer and my ministry is centered around worship and families. I lead worship as a professional musician and would love to help you and your family as a marriage and family therapist. You can find me at the beach, in my studio or working out at the Victory YMCA.

We both are ordained by the Assemblies of God and graduates of (MA, MAR, MACO) Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Jamé later studied at Harvard and economic development (MPAP) at Rutgers. He’s chasing a Ph.D. as a Candidate at Universiteit Stellenbosch.

Gabriella & Micah are our two hilarious children and we have two pups, Bandit and Theo.

Lead Pastor (Church Ministries)

Hey, I’m Stuart Ross, Lead Pastor (Church Ministries)!

At Victory, I oversee all the church ministries, where we discover what our faith can do to impact every aspect of our lives, our families, and our communities. 

My ministry focus is to equip individuals to experience a lifelong journey of growth as a follower of Christ. Before coming to Victory, my last assignment was as lead pastor for a multisite church in northeastern Ohio. I previously served as discipleship and adult ministries pastor in several churches, as well as a missionary to Bulgaria, and a dean at the University of Valley Forge.

My wife, Heather, and I are thrilled to return to the Peninsula, as the Hampton Roads area is where we met and married, and our two beautiful daughters were born. Heather enjoys teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in Newport News Public Schools. Heather and I have been married for over twenty-eight years and we look forward to many more years together! 

I’m ordained with the Assemblies of God, earned an M.Div. in Practical Theology from Regent University and I hold a Doctor of Ministry from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

With my focus on discipleship, I have interacted with Pastor Jamé over the past decade as he co-developed Discipleship Dynamics, where I serve as a Senior Fellow, equipping believers in whole-life discipleship. My recently completed doctoral project was based on the book Pastor Jamé co-wrote, Life in 5D – A New Vision of Discipleship. I am excited that we are continuing this work together, seeking to equip churches and believers to experience the fullness of the life of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit!
