Meet OUR PASTORS

Jamé Bolds
Lead Pastor (Vision & Theology)

Hi, we are Jamé & Jennifer Bolds. We believe deeply that the local church is the soul of a community and it feeds our God-given desire to build a loving & healthy church. We want a place where people make friends and live life together. Faith bridges the gap from Sunday to Monday in all aspects of our life.

I (Jamé) oversee the ministry at Victory, which includes the church, school, retirement community, and all the exciting adventures our Victors embark on. Alongside Pastor Stuart, I share the Sunday speaking as well as diving into all things around whole-life discipleship.

In addition to my role at Victory, I’m the CEO of the Pathmakers Foundation, a venture philanthropic foundation that helps ministries thrive socially and economically.

Above all, I love engaging with our Victors! As a professional coffee buyer, I’m always up for a chat—feel free to reach out anytime at (seven five seven) 504-0322. Let’s connect and enjoy life together!

Both Jamé and I are ordained by the Assemblies of God and graduates of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (MA, MAR, MACO). Jamé also studied at Harvard, an (MPAP) at Rutgers, and chasing a Ph.D. at Universiteit Stellenbosch.

Stuart ross
Lead Pastor (Church Ministries)

Hey there! I’m Stuart Ross, the Lead Pastor at Victory Church!

Here at Victory, I oversee all our church ministries, guiding us as we explore how faith can transform our lives, families, and communities. My passion is to equip individuals for a lifelong journey of growth as followers of Christ.

Before joining Victory, I served as the lead pastor of a multisite church in northeastern Ohio and held various roles, including discipleship pastor, missionary in Bulgaria, and dean at the University of Valley Forge.

My wife, Heather, and I are excited to be back in the Peninsula, the very place where we met, married, and welcomed our two beautiful daughters into the world. Heather is a dedicated ESL teacher in Newport News Public Schools. We’ve been happily married for over twenty-eight years and look forward to many more!

I’m ordained with the Assemblies of God, and hold an M.Div. (Practical Theology) from Regent Divinity School, along with a Doctor of Ministry from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

My focus on discipleship has led to a decade-long collaboration with Pastor Jamé, who co-developed Discipleship Dynamics. I recently completed a doctoral project based on the book Pastor Jamé co-authored, Life in 5D – A New Vision of Discipleship. I’m thrilled to continue this journey together, equipping churches and believers to fully experience the abundant life of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit!
